The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, October 5 reveals Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will encourage Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) to turn herself in.
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will wonder what Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has gotten himself into. Plus, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will realize something’s off with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will talk to her daughter.
Y&R spoilers tease Cane will tell Phyllis his properties were transferred over to her. He’ll say he’s rooting for her and would do another deal with her in the future. Phyllis will tell Cane she’s excited about running another hotel.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Devon Tells Lily They Are All In This With Her
Then Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will show up and ask what she was doing with Cane. Phyllis will say she bought a couple of Cane’s properties and tell him which ones. “It seems like an unnecessary expense,” he’ll quip. He’ll also wonder why she’s buying the building across from Victor’s.
So, Daniel will call Summer and ask if she can talk some sense into their mom. He’ll pass the phone to Phyllis, who will be thrilled to talk to Summer, and she’ll bring her up to speed. “I miss you so much,” she’ll tell her. “I’m so sorry about what’s happening with you and your brother and me, I just wanna see you.”
At the ranch, Adam will tell Victor he thinks Nick is hiding something. “Well, that’s why I want to take action myself,” Victor will reply. Then security will call, Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) is at the gate. “Send him in,” Victor will tell them.
Burrow will walk in, and say he needs them to corroborate the information Nick told him. Victor will ask why he doesn’t arrest the scumbag that sold his son drugs. “I would happily arrest the guy but he hasn’t been since since his altercation with your son Nick,” he’ll reply.
At Society, Nate will run into Lily and ask if there’s any news from the doctor. “Nothing,” she’ll reply. “I feel like the longer I wait to hear if my cancer’s come back, the more likely it has.” Nate will ask if she’s told Cane. Lily will admit she couldn’t. “Do you think that means I still don’t fully trust him?”
Nate will say he doesn’t trust Cane but it’s obvious he cares about her. So he’ll encourage Lily to tell him. Devon Winters (Bryton James) will walk up and ask what’s happening. “There’s a chance my cancer has come back,” Lily will tell her brother. He’ll embrace her and tell her she’s not alone. “We’re all in this with you.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Patty Thought They Had A Future Together
Cane will arrive and ask what the happy occasion is. Lily will lie and say they were just chatting about how they miss working together at Winters. Devon and Nate will head to the bar and Cane will notice something is off. “What’s going on?” he’ll ask. Lily will say there is something going on but she can’t tell him right now.
Meanwhile, Patty and Matt will be heading out on the road. “This is so awesome,” she’ll tell him, suggesting they move by a lake. Matt will tell her it’s not gonna happen, she’s a wanted criminal. “I thought we had a future together,” Patty will reply.
But Matt will say he thinks she should turn herself in. Patty will be furious. “No, no, no!” she’ll say. “You just want me out of the way so you can go back and play house with Phyllis.” Matt will tell her he and Phyllis are over. But he’s always looking over his shoulder because he’s with her.
“I really thought we were gonna be partners,” she’ll tell him. Matt will ask why she’s the way she is. Patty will tell him her parents and brothers were wonderful. “Blame Diane Jenkins, she’s the one who started all this by stealing Jack from me.”
Finally, Matt will tell her on some level she must be sorry for the things she’s done. “Because for people like us Patty, being sorry might be the way out of this life of madness.” She’ll say she’s happy being her and doesn’t want to change.
Matt will say if she turns herself in she won’t be alone. “I would rather die than be locked up again!” she’ll growl. Then she’ll grab the steering wheel and drive them off the road. But will they survive?
